Our story
As a fifth generation farmer, Krista Karhoff owns and operates Country Road Flowers located in Putnam County, Ohio. She holds a passion to make the beauty of her farm more accessible to the public. By growing cut flowers to sell in, she started to realize all of the different ways she can share her love of the outdoors with others.
Karhoff was raised on a Jersey dairy operation in Huron County, Ohio with her family. After moving to her current residence with her husband, Ryan Karhoff, she started growing her own flowers. As she continues to grow flowers in more abundance, she started to share with family friends and neighbors. Karhoff enjoyed sharing with them the discovery of the joy of flowers which sparked an interest in growing more flowers. With an eagerness to learn how to produce a quality product, Karhoff decided to start a fresh-cut flower farm.
“Country Road Flowers is the first place I call when I need an arrangement. I always get the freshest blooms perfectly matched to my color theme. Her bouquets always last so much longer than others and her advice for flower care is unmatched! I will always recommend Country Road Flowers.”
